![]() NOTE: In the same task - once the "INFILE" thing was solved (above) - I had issues with empty values in my CSV data, to which the answer (and question) was very helpful. Cross-account sharing is only available with mSecure Cloud syncing. Those with the Admin privilege can add records to it as well as edit and delete records stored in the vault. Admin access grants users the most freedom to records stored in a vault. Now you should be able to LOAD DATA INFILE '/data/data.csv' INTO TABLE some_table. Write access allows a user to add records and edit the data for any record stored in the vault. If you want to allow LOCAL INFILE load, define also the option local_infile=TRUE. If the mSecure 5 app was installed on your device before installing the newest version of mSecure, after tapping Pick Folder in the Set Backups Folder. Using the official image (as explained in the README): $ docker run -name mysql -e MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD=secret -d mysql \ In fact, (inside the container,) the config file says: cat /etc/mysql/my.cnf You can also refuse to sync your vault on its cloud server if you prefer local hosting. It has industry-standard security with 256-bit AES encryption, and all encryption takes place locally on your device, which is a good thing. If (_ENV = 'production') Value (after reading options) mSecure is an ordinary password manager that fails to offer any advanced features or unique capabilities. Var Import = require('./routes/ImportRoutes.js') Server.js const express = require('express'), This one is configured to run on I goes line by line and creates query string "city","city_ascii","lat","lng","country","iso2","iso3","id" This needs to be addressed pronto! Please be advised that I've not received any benefit for the money I've paid for mSecure 5, as I've not used it since paying for the pre-release.I created a NodeJS import script if you are running nodeJS and you data is in the following form (double quote comma and \n new line) INSERT INTO VALUEs( **CSV LINE **) I will decide whether to continue our relationship. I FINALLY FOUND THE DAMN THING!!!! We need to know where OUR data resides PERIOD! You do not get full-reign over our critically important personal information!!!! If you think you have that right to our security, and destiny, please advise. You could have offered to EXPOSE the location of the data file, but have not, causing personally-responsible me to spent hours Googling and hunting for "MY" data file. You have violated our trust with your implementation of mSecure 5 by "killing" proven functionality we came to rely on in 3.5.7.717, with this being yet another violation. I agree with Gerry! This, along with a litany of other issues is why I have not taken the step to commit to mSecure 5 (or beyond). ![]() ![]() Unfortunately, the Sync with a shared folder option will continue to be unavailable for mobile devices :-/īased on Mike's response above, it appears that mSeven is not interested in addressing this issue in any way it's been 3 years since any communication about this issue. In the near future, I hope to also have our Sync with a shared folder option backup on Mac and Windows to allow customers using computers to use any sync services (I use Nextcloud myself) they'd like in order to keep their information in sync. However, either way, we have sync and backup options in either case that you can and should use instead. I'm not sure if the purpose of moving or storing the database file is simply to have secure backups of the database file here or to sync the database file across multiple computers. Some store financial information like bank account and credit card. The product comes pre-configured with a total of 16 item types. Since that's the case, there really is no reason for us to allow you to move the default location of our database file to a custom location here. Web logins are just one type of data you can store in mSecure. Because of this, the database file is pretty useless outside of it's default hardcoded path. It depends on other files/folders/settings in the \mSevenSoftware.mSecure10_xxxxxxxxxx\ folder as well. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I don't know, the database file for our UWP app relies on more than just the database file itself (mSecure.mscf). ![]()
